Odisha to Host 40th IATO Annual Convention in August 2025

Odisha will host the 40th IATO Annual Convention from 22nd to 25th August 2025 at Swosti Premium Beach Resort, Puri, as announced following a meeting between the IATO team and Pravati Parida, Deputy Chief Minister and Tourism Minister of Odisha.

The delegation, led by Ravi Gosain, IATO President, included Sanjay Razdan, Vice President, Rajiv Mehra, Immediate Past President, J.K. Mohanty, Eastern Region Chairman, and Gagan Sarangi, Odisha Chapter Chairman. The Minister confirmed her participation and assured full support from the Government of Odisha, including the Directorate of Tourism and OTDC.

She also promised seamless access for delegates to visit Lord Jagannath Temple, beautification of Puri Beach, and accommodation for post-convention tours at OTDC properties.

The IATO team also met Mansi Nimbhal, Director (Tourism), Odisha, who extended her support for the event.

Around 1000–1200 delegates are expected, including senior officials from the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, state tourism boards, travel professionals, and media. All sessions, business events, and evening programmes will take place at Swosti Premium Beach Resort.

With the support from Odisha Tourism, the 40th IATO Annual Convention is going to be held from August 22- 25 2025 in Puri, Odisha. Odisha is the host state of the convention and besides the host state, we expect Ministry of Tourism and Government of India and 15-18 states presence in the convention.
