Island Coconut Festival 2025

Andaman and Nicobar's eagerly awaited Island Coconut Festival 2025, themed “Celebrating Coconut – Culture, Cuisine & Crafts of the Islands”, has announced revised dates. Originally planned for May 24-25, 2025, the event will now take place on May 31 and June1, 2025 at the ITF Pavilion, SVP Pavilion, under the aegis of the Department of Tourism in collaboration with allied departments and associations.

This vibrant celebration seeks to promote coconut-based tourism and sustainable livelihoods, highlighting both traditional and contemporary applications of the humble coconut — from delectable dishes and handcrafted souvenirs to wellness rituals steeped in island heritage.

A key attraction of the festival includes interactive exhibits, live cooking zones, craft showcases, and wellness experiences, creating an immersive cultural encounter for both locals and visitors.

A celebration of the coconut’s enduring legacy, the event aims to boost coconut-based tourism and local livelihoods, while offering visitors an immersive journey into the culinary, cultural, and wellness applications of this tropical treasure.

The festival will feature interactive exhibitions, live craft displays, tasting zones, and cultural showcases, highlighting both traditional and modern coconut-based innovations.
