AYANA Bali, the island’s premier integrated resort, has unveiled the rebranding of Ah Yat Abalone Seafood Restaurant as Liu Li Palace Seafood Restaurant — a renowned Asian dining experience now making its debut in Bali. Originally celebrated at AYANA Midplaza Jakarta since 2021, Liu Li Palace brings its distinctive blend of Cantonese and Szechuan flavours to the heart of Bali, elevating the resort’s culinary offerings with its commitment to premium ingredients, timeless techniques, and contemporary elegance.

Inspired by the Chinese art of colored glass making, ‘liū li’ (琉璃) — symbolising beauty, clarity, and craftsmanship — the restaurant epitomises artistry in every dish. At Liu Li Palace, diners can savour a sophisticated selection of traditional Chinese dishes, modernised by skilled chefs who infuse bold Sichuan spices, fresh seafood, and an inviting hot pot experience — a perfect harmony of innovation and tradition.

A standout feature is the Family Style Hot Pot, offering three distinct broths — House-Made Tomato Soup, Sichuan Mala Soup, and Chicken Soup — allowing guests to customise their meal with one or two flavours. The menu also boasts handcrafted signature dishes such as the Stuffed Tofu Platter filled with pork and squid, Handmade Meatballs in shrimp, fish, and beef, and the crispy Fried Meat with fermented bean curd pork, complemented by a curated selection of dipping sauces to enhance every bite.

The menu pays homage to Chinese culinary heritage with delicacies reserved for special occasions. Guests can indulge in the renowned Mini Buddha Jumps Over the Wall — a complex, slow-cooked soup packed with abalone, sea cucumber, dried scallops, and fish maw — or enjoy Cantonese-style Suckling Pig with its crisply roasted skin and tender meat.

Other delights include fresh Lobster Sashimi, the signature Sea Mantis prepared in Liu Li’s superior soy sauce, amplifying its natural sweetness, and the elegantly steamed Grouper Hong Kong-style, showcasing fish’s exquisite freshness.

Featuring a live seafood aquarium and interiors inspired by the four seasons, Liu Li Palace offers a stylish and inviting setting, perfect for everything from intimate dinners to grand celebrations. The restaurant boasts 9 private VIP rooms (hosting up to 50 guests) and three spacious main halls, accommodating up to 130 diners — ideal for family gatherings, corporate events, weddings, and traditional ceremonies.

“Liu Li Seafood Palace represents AYANA’s dedication to excellence and cultural authenticity,” says Giordano Faggioli, General Manager of AYANA Bali. “We are proud to bring this celebrated dining experience in-house as part of the AYANA brand. It reflects our continued commitment to offering refined, world-class cuisine to our guests, and we look forward to establishing Liu Li Palace as a new landmark of Cantonese and Szechuan cuisine on the island.”

To mark its rebranding, Liu Li Palace is offering special promotions on the All-You-Can-Eat Hot Pot and Limitless Liu Li Lunch (dim sum) from June 1 to August 31, 2025, available to both in-house and external guests.
