Coffee Island India has officially opened the doors to its first café in Delhi, marking a major milestone in its Indian journey. In partnership with Vita Nova, this café is the brand’s first 24x7 outlet in the country, offering an around-the-clock haven for coffee lovers in the capital.
Located in the bustling high-street of Greater Kailash II M Block, the new café is designed to blend seamlessly with Delhi’s evolving coffee culture. With its European-style roasting expertise, diverse brewing techniques, and ethically sourced beans, Coffee Island is setting new standards for quality and sustainability in India’s café scene.
Konstantinos Konstantinopoulos, CEO, Coffee Island, said, “Coffee Island’s entry into the Delhi market marks a transformative milestone in our journey of growth in India. Delhi’s unique blend of rich heritage and vibrant cosmopolitan culture creates the perfect canvas for us to share our passion for coffee and craft unforgettable experiences. Through our invaluable partnership with Vita Nova, we have been able to authentically tailor our offering to local tastes while upholding the highest global standards of quality. As we expand our presence across India, we remain deeply committed to sustainable growth, operational excellence, and fostering a brand that resonates with communities and inspires a love for specialty coffee.”
Guests can explore a wide array of beverages—from the Prebiotic Overnight Brew and Java Chip Killer to the indulgent Islander Cold Coffee and Bobastic Coffeeccino. Alongside these is an all-day dining menu curated by renowned chef Arjyo Banerjee, featuring global-inspired dishes like the Mediterranean Quinoa Bliss Bowl, Roasted Tomato Basil Bocconcini Pide, and sweet treats like Banoffee with Nolen Gur.
Coffee Island also showcases its commitment to sustainability with eco-conscious architecture, biodegradable packaging, and a zero-waste coffee upcycling programme. Its cafés stock retail products such as Craft Chocolates, Cold Brews, Pour Overs, and Ready-to-Eat meals, enhancing the customer experience beyond just coffee.
With existing cafés in Gurugram and Hyderabad, Coffee Island now sets its sights on Mumbai, Bangalore, and Pune, with an ambitious plan to open 250 cafés by 2029. Through its collaboration with Vita Nova, the brand also aims to expand into Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Mauritius, and the Maldives.
Commenting on the opening, Pratyush Sureka, Founder, Vita Nova, added, “Following our successful launches in Gurgaon and Hyderabad, foraying into Delhi was a strategic next move in Coffee Island’s India growth journey. Greater Kailash, with its vibrant community and premium high-street appeal, offers the perfect setting to introduce our signature café experience. This launch reinforces our commitment to redefining India’s café culture by bringing global coffee excellence to discerning Indian consumers.”
