Jumeirah Olhahali Island, in Dubai, has announced an exclusive pop-up collaboration with Atrangi by Ritu Dalmia, the renowned Indian restaurant at Jumeirah Al Qasr. From June 7 to June 12, 2025, the island will host Head Chef Aniket Chatterjee, who will collaborate with the resort’s culinary team to present a modern five-course Indian dining experience.

Inspired by Ritu Dalmia’s distinct approach to Indian cuisine, Atrangi offers inventive interpretations of regional dishes. Chef Aniket, known for blending traditional techniques with contemporary influences, has created a bespoke menu featuring both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, including oceanfront dinners and relaxed beach grills under the stars.

The menu highlights include a contemporary take on chilli cheese toast, pickled doodhi, Malvani chicken tikka, paneer peeli mirch tikka, and a variety of flavourful curries and sides, finishing with traditional Indian sweets.

“Maldives has always been a special country for me, having been there several times and it is a thrill to be able to do a pop up with Atrangi there, where we get to showcase some of our local community-based dishes along with having some fun with the best produce Maldives has to offer,” commented Chef Ritu Dalmia.
