Kamei’s Odyssey: A Journey of Flavour Inspired by Adventure and Spirit

Kamei’s Odyssey has recently unveiled a culinary and cocktail experience rooted in exploration and cultural symbolism. Inspired by the turtle - an enduring symbol of longevity, wisdom, and good fortune across many Asian cultures - the menu charts the transformative journey of this resilient creature through six key phases of life.

This curated selection of signature cocktails reflects the turtle’s voyage from birth to its final stretch, capturing each stage through distinct flavours and ingredients inspired by its surroundings. From coastal herbs to oceanic minerals, each drink is a sensory tribute to nature’s ever-changing landscape and the enduring spirit of discovery.

Developed collaboratively by our mixology and brand teams, Odyssey seeks to evoke emotion and connect characterised experiences with taste. It begins with The Hatch, a savoury start with white rum, white cacao, dry vermouth, and house-made tomato soda, and progresses through The Great Wall, The Spirited Climb, Trekking the Grassland, Swimming the Currents, and ending with The Final Stretch.

Each cocktail is crafted to tell part of the turtle’s story, blending flavours that reflect its environment and journey. Whether it’s the fruity and spicy notes of The Great Wall or the sweet, floral essence of Swimming the Currents, the menu is a narrative palette of nature’s resilience and change.
