So grab your gang (or treat yourself solo), because these new spots are calling. And honestly? You’ll want to answer.
From Thai flair with Michelin star power to Latin American soul, and desi flavours reborn with twists, these new openings are full of personality, passion, and unforgettable plates.
BAANG- By Chef Garima Arora
Easily one of the year’s most hyped openings, BAANG has made a loud and flavour-packed debut at Gurugram’s Two Horizon Centre. A powerhouse collaboration between Chef Garima Arora- the first Indian woman to earn a Michelin star and Riyaaz Amlani of Social and Smoke House Deli fame, BAANG is anything but ordinary. Designed by Studio Renesa, the space is a riot of colours, textures, and playful energy, fusing Thai heritage with Indian design in a setting that feels both fresh and rooted.
At the helm is Chef Manav Khanna, Garima’s protégé from GAA, Bangkok, who delivers a menu that’s comforting, curious, and wildly fun. Think Tom Kha pani puri, Turmeric Squid Fry, or a lip-smacking Khai Jeaw Crab Omelette. Main courses, like the classic green curry with turmeric rice, hit all the right notes, while desserts, like the Lod Chong Bingsu, end things on a light, sweet note. At the bar, Attapon De-Silva curates Muay Thai-inspired cocktails from light ‘Flyweights’ to punchy ‘Heavyweights’ that are as quirky as they are clever.
Daisy Mae Cantina, Khan Market
Khan Market just got a fun Mexican upgrade. Daisy Mae Cantina serves street‑style birria tacos, jackfruit carnitas and chipotle black‑bean bowls. It's casual enough for lunch but fun enough for a relaxed dinner, with fresh guac made to order. Whether you’re into meat or plant-based eats, it dishes out hearty, satisfying Mexican fare.
For those with a sweet tooth, the Churro Ice Cream Tacos are the perfect way to end the meal, warm, crunchy, and indulgent in all the right ways. Guests can watch fresh tortillas being flipped right before their eyes or head over to the interactive margarita station to shake up their drink, complete with salt rims like zesty lime or spicy tajín. The cantina’s colourful murals, glowing neon signs, and buzzing energy make it feel like a non-stop fiesta. Add in taco-eating contests, live mariachi music, and tequila tastings, and there’s never a dull moment. And for the true spirit lovers, there’s a hidden tequila library tucked away with some of the rarest bottles, perfect for a quiet sip or a little discovery.
KOCA, Gurugram
The only spot opened by cricket legend Yuvraj Singh. KOCA stands for Kitchen of Celebratory Arts, and every detail reflects that mood. KOCA brings together global and Pan-Asian flavours across six unique cuisines. The 14,000 sq. ft. space serves up to 500 guests and reflects Yuvraj’s passion for hospitality, with signature dishes from his childhood reimagined by chefs Megha Kohli and Noah, think Kadhi Chawal Risotto, Rajma Avocado Galouti, and Seafood Linguine.
The experience is elevated by an inventive bar menu by Luca Cinalli and contributions from Dubai-based chefs Prateek and Adiba Jha. Beyond its culinary excellence, KOCA is committed to responsible dining and sustainability. The restaurant embraces eco-conscious practices such as portion control, complete waste recycling, and a strict no-plastic policy, reinforcing Yuvraj’s dedication to sustainable living and healthy eating.
Matram
Matram is a culinary masterpiece rooted in India’s timeless heritage and reimagined through modern artistry. It is the first chef-driven restaurant of Dwarka, New Delhi. Matram brings together forgotten recipes, heirloom ingredients, and slow-crafted techniques from across the country, from the snow-dusted valleys of Kashmir to the spice-laden kitchens of Kerala, and from the earthy warmth of Gujarat to the delicate finesse of Assam.
Each dish is crafted to revive forgotten recipes, honour regional traditions, and celebrate India’s timeless palette of flavours. From the bold chillies of Kashmir to the fragrant curry leaves of Kerala, the menu traverses the length and breadth of India, blending heirloom ingredients, heritage herbs, and time-honoured craftsmanship. The specials include dishes like Tender coconut Chilly fry, Gunpowder Podi idli with coconut espuma, Gucchi, Kashmiri Nadru fritters, Kundapur chicken ghee roast, Rum spiced tiger prawn tandoori, Kerala Mutton pepper fry, Watermelon Panchporan, Kashmiri Gucchi Morel pulao, etc.
Latoya
Latoya recently opened its doors at Eldeco Centre, Malviya Nagar, bringing a bold, spirited taste of Latin America to the heart of Delhi. Curated by Manifest Hospitality, the restaurant instantly stood out with its vibrant menu, spanning Mexican street tacos, Peruvian Nikkei flavours, and Argentinian-style grills. Every dish feels like a journey rooted in authenticity yet reimagined for the modern Indian diner. Ingredients are locally sourced where possible, but always carefully chosen for quality and flavour.
Step inside, and Latoya wraps you in warmth. With stained glass accents, rich textures, and striking murals, the space designed by Nivedita Agarwal feels soulful and inviting. The cocktail bar is where the energy truly comes alive, playful, punchy and full of tropical charm, thanks to Latin spirits and local twists. Whether you’re sharing small plates or sipping on an agave-laced cocktail, Latoya offers a refreshing, intimate break from Delhi’s high-octane dining scene.
Odella
Odella is where art meets appetite. Inspired by the grandeur of the Renaissance and Baroque periods, the restaurant's interiors are lavish without feeling stiff, think dramatic design, rich textures, and moody lighting that transports you somewhere between an old-world theatre and a modern lounge.
But it’s the food and cocktails that take centre stage. The menu is a playful journey across the globe: from smoky Gucchi Galouti and Jackfruit Enchiladas to Mansa Ghee Roast and Sambal Seabass, each dish balances indulgence with inventiveness. The drinks are equally adventurous: the Venice Sunset mixes jasmine gin with Aperol and citrus, while The Cape Route surprises with tequila, pickled amla, and Sichuan heat. Whether you're here for a long dinner or just a cocktail and dessert (try the Biscoff Tres Leches), Odella promises a stylish, flavour-packed escape right in the city.
