The Qube

The Leela Palace New Delhi has announced the grand reopening of The Qube, its celebrated world-cuisine atelier, in a stunning new guise. Embodying The Leela’s dedication to refined luxury, The Qube now seamlessly blends exceptional gastronomy with contemporary design, immersive hospitality, and a captivating visual spectacle. Dominating the space is a cinematic digital art wall that reinterprets Delhi’s rich history through an artistic lens.

Upon entering, guests are welcomed into a thoughtfully curated gallery of niches featuring vintage photographs and embroidered emblems in luxurious red and gold. These artefacts, inspired by Delhi’s iconic architecture, evoke the city’s majestic past and lend an air of sculptural storytelling. Modern metal partitions contrast yet complement the regal motifs, creating a sleek, contemporary atmosphere enveloped in timeless splendour. Here, history is not merely remembered but reimagined, a setting of sophistication and grandeur befitting The Leela, where every dish is a masterpiece and every corner a tribute to Delhi’s eternal elegance.

At the centre of The Qube’s philosophy is a celebration of variety, vibrancy, and culinary artistry. Mornings commence with an artisanal buffet that champions wellness and seasonality, utilising locally sourced ingredients and homemade preserves. Afternoons showcase a diverse buffet offering flavours from across the globe, from India’s hyperlocal delights to exquisite European and Mediterranean fare.

Evenings introduce a more intimate and refined dining experience with an all-new à la carte menu curated by Chef Ashmeet Singh Jolly. A renowned figure in Delhi’s culinary scene, Chef Jolly combines global influences with instinctive artistry, striking a delicate balance between authenticity and innovation.

A highlight of the reimagined space is the experiential Thai dining studio, led by Chef Krung Thong of Kalasin, Thailand. Drawing inspiration from traditional recipes passed through generations and his childhood memories, Chef Thong’s dishes are soulful, elegant, and exuberant. Ingredients such as kaffir lime, galangal, jasmine rice, and ruby water chestnuts are presented in refined yet emotionally resonant ways, transporting guests to Thailand through taste and texture.

Enhancing The Qube’s immersive ambience is a state-of-the-art LED digital art wall, developed in partnership with contemporary art platform Masha Art. This dynamic canvas features a rotating selection of digital artworks by renowned and emerging Indian artists including Shrikant Kadam, Swaraj Das, Seema Kohli, and Rajesh Badaria, among others. From striking brushstrokes to animated narratives, each visual element complements the dining experience, offering guests an ever-evolving aesthetic journey. The integration of art is an essential part of the space’s rhythm and philosophy—celebrating Indian heritage while embracing cutting-edge digital storytelling.
