NCL Expands Winter 2027–28 Sailings Across Caribbean, Bahamas and Mexico
Norwegian Cruise Line announced its winter 2027–28 northern hemisphere deployment, adding 320 new voyages across the Bahamas, Caribbean, Bermuda and the Mexican Riviera.
The announcement follows the cruise line’s earlier release of sailings for Australia, New Zealand, Asia and Hawai‘i for the same season. With the latest additions, Norwegian Cruise Line has released more than 370 voyages across 50 countries for the 2027–28 period.
San Juan to Homeport Two Prima Class Ships
For the first time, two Prima Class ships will homeport in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Norwegian Prima will operate seven-day Southern Caribbean itineraries with Saturday departures from November 13, 2027, to April 22, 2028. Ports of call include Road Town, Philipsburg, Bridgetown, Castries, Basseterre and St Thomas.
Norwegian Viva will complement these sailings with Sunday departures from November 14, 2027, to January 23, 2028. These seven-day itineraries will include calls to destinations such as Aruba and Curaçao.
Florida Departures Expand Caribbean and Bahamas Options
Seven Norwegian Cruise Line ships will sail from Florida homeports, offering itineraries to the Bahamas, the Caribbean, and the Panama Canal. Many voyages will include calls at Great Stirrup Cay, the cruise line’s private island destination in the Bahamas.
From Miami, Norwegian Joy will operate three- and four-day Bahamas sailings between November 2027 and April 2028. Norwegian Jewel will offer 10- and 11-day itineraries to the Southern Caribbean and the Panama Canal from November 2027 to January 2028. Norwegian Luna will sail seven-day Eastern Caribbean itineraries from October 2027 through April 2028.
From Port Canaveral, Norwegian Aqua will operate seven-day Western Caribbean sailings from October 2027 to April 2028. Norwegian Breakaway will offer four- and five-day itineraries between November 2027 and March 2028, while Norwegian Epic will sail seven-day Eastern Caribbean itineraries on Fridays.
Norwegian Dawn will return to Jacksonville on November 19, 2027, offering four- and five-day Bahamas itineraries through April 2028.
Continued Sailings from Philadelphia
Norwegian Cruise Line will continue year-round deployment from Philadelphia, with Norwegian Pearl sailing five- to twelve-day itineraries between October 2027 and April 2028. Destinations include Bermuda, the Bahamas, Eastern Caribbean and Southern Caribbean, with select overnight stays in Bermuda.
Gulf Coast and Mexican Riviera Itineraries
Norwegian Escape will homeport in Galveston, Texas, offering seven-day Western Caribbean itineraries between November 2027 and April 2028. Norwegian Getaway will sail similar itineraries from New Orleans during the same period.
Norwegian Encore will operate seven-day Mexican Riviera roundtrip sailings from Los Angeles between October 2027 and April 2028, calling at Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlán and Puerto Vallarta.
Extended Global Deployment
The winter deployment builds on previously announced sailings aboard Norwegian Spirit and Norwegian Jade for October 2027 to April 2028. These itineraries range from seven to 21 days and include nearly 70 ports of call across Asia, Australia and the Pacific.
