Aaroha Musical Wellness is delighted to announce its second acclaimed Musical Healing Retreat, taking place from June 27 to 29, 2025, at the beautiful Punarnava Wellness Resort & Spa in Dehradun. This unique three-day experience fuses India’s ancient healing traditions, classical and Sufi music, and spiritual practices, offering deep immersion into wellness, harmony, and self-discovery.
Guided by esteemed wellness experts and spiritual teachers, including Dr NK Sharma, renowned for Reiki and Past Life Regression; Vision Divinity with immersive Sound Healing; Vedic Yogic healer Meher; and Ayurvedic specialists from Kairali, participants will embark on a journey towards holistic healing. Interactive discussions with Vaishnavacharya Jai Jai Sri Abhishek Goswami Maharaj, celebrated for his spiritual insights, will further enrich the retreat.
Speaking about the initiative, Bani Sharma, Co-Founder, Aaroha Musical Wellness, commented, “Every activity at Aaroha is crafted to balance the physical, emotional, and spiritual energies of individuals. By uniting 'Surr, Swar, and Sargam' with untouched nature, Aaroha offers an immersive journey into self-healing through sound, movement, and stillness.”
Themed “Rhythm of Wellness – Embrace Ancient Therapy, Spirituality & Musical Heritage in Nature’s Heart,” attendees will enjoy a carefully curated programme of Sound Baths, Chakra Healing, Yoga, and spiritual conversations—all infused with the therapeutic essence of music. These practices are designed to restore harmony within and promote overall well-being.
In addition to therapies and talks, Aaroha highlights the transformative power of dance, mudras, and musical instruments. More than mere cultural expressions, they serve as pathways to inner peace and healing. In an era where music is often seen just as entertainment, Aaroha reminds us of its profound spiritual and healing roots.
The retreat also aims to ignite awareness around environmental conservation. Through sacred musical rituals, dance performances, and mindful wellness activities, Aaroha seeks to promote respect for Uttarakhand’s fragile ecosystems and natural landscapes.
Aaroha’s vision is to establish India as a leading global destination for wellness tourism. Just as seekers trekked to Everest, spiritual explorers will now journey to Dehradun to find solace in music, holistic therapies, and nature.
Plans include developing eco-friendly wellness centres within Uttarakhand’s villages—harmonising with nature and supporting local communities. The initiative also envisions creating spiritual, Ayurvedic, and musical gurukuls to nurture future generations. Emphasising sustainability, Aaroha aims to empower women, increase local employment, and promote organic, locally sourced products like essential oils, incense, herbal soaps, and remedies crafted from native hill flora.
With support from both private and government sectors, Aaroha aspires to elevate Uttarakhand into a holistic wellness hub—where Indian heritage meets international standards of mindful living. The retreat also serves to showcase India’s rich cultural legacy, inviting the world to experience our traditions in their purest form.
