Cygnett Hotels & Resorts has announced the signing of its newest property, Cygnett Retreat™ Collection by Wyndham Ujjain. This greenfield project marks a significant step in the company’s expansion strategy across key pilgrimage and leisure destinations in India.
Ujjain, renowned for the revered Mahakaleshwar Jyotilinga and its rich cultural heritage, is experiencing robust tourism growth, driven by spiritual significance and improved connectivity. Strategically located 12 kilometres from the iconic Mahakaleshwar Temple and the city centre, the new property offers the ideal combination of tranquillity and accessibility for pilgrims, families, and experiential travellers alike.
Drawing inspiration from the timeless architecture of Santorini, the retreat will feature pristine whitewashed walls, domed roofs, arched windows, and blue accents reminiscent of the Aegean Sea.
