Dubai is set to welcome the tallest hotel in the world, standing at over 1,197 ft (365 m), later this year. The Ciel Dubai Marina, developed by The First Group, will boast 82 floors and approximately 1,004 rooms, including 147 suites, with architecture by NORR Group.
This ambitious project will feature a 12-storey sky garden, the world's tallest infinity pool at 1,004 feet above ground, and a sky restaurant at 1,158 ft. Located in Dubai Marina, the hotel’s floor-to-ceiling glass windows will offer breathtaking 360-degree views of the Persian Gulf.
Guests will have access to ten dining options, including the debut of the Middle Eastern Tattu Dubai, which will have a sky lounge on the 81st floor, a sky pool on the 76th, and a restaurant on the 74th.
Construction is progressing, with the foyer approximately 65 per cent complete, and several other areas at around 50 per cent. The furniture installation for guest rooms is about 45 per cent finished, and the leisure deck's fit-out is roughly 40 per cent done.
The hotel's extraordinary atrium, reaching around 984 ft, will feature vertically stacked, landscaped terraces with natural ventilation. Once finished, Ciel will redefine luxury skyline experiences and is set to surpass Dubai’s current tallest building, the Gevora Hotel, at 1,169 ft.
“The Ciel in Dubai Marina will set a new standard as the world’s tallest hotel,” said The First Group, the developer on the website. “More than an architectural marvel, Ciel will become a global icon and our most luxurious project yet.”
