LaRiSa Hotels and Resorts announced the signing of a new hotel management agreement for a resort in Palampur, nestled in the scenic Kangra Valley of Himachal Pradesh. This addition brings the company's portfolio in the state to a total of five properties, joining existing favourites such as LaRiSa Resort, Manali; 8fold by LaRiSa, Shimla; 8fold by LaRiSa, Jibhi; and the Golden Rock Dharamshala – part of the AM Hotel Kollection.

Speaking on the occasion, Priya Thakur, Director, LaRiSa Hotels and Resorts Ltd, commented, “Palampur in Kangra Valley is witnessing a notable surge in tourism as visitors flock here not only to escape the heat of the scorching plains but also for activities such as hiking and paragliding, pilgrimages to the nearby temples and experience its tea gardens. With the signing of LaRiSa Resort, Palampur, we are strengthening our market and offering in Himachal Pradesh and our partnership with the Sandhu Family, the promoters of Grassmere Resorts.”

Situated on a sprawling 2.5-acre estate, the resort is set to open in the first quarter of 2026. Its beautifully landscaped gardens, featuring flowering plants, a herb garden, and fruit-bearing trees, embody the farm-to-table philosophy. The centrepiece, a serene, beautifully designed fish pond, adds a tranquil touch, evoking the Yin Yang symbol to promote balance and harmony.

The resort will offer 20 elegantly appointed rooms and suites, each with a balcony and ranging from 400 sq ft to 850 sq ft, offering views of both the mountains and the town and is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2026.

Facilities will include an infinity pool overlooking the breathtaking Dhauladhar Range and Palampur city, a restaurant, bar, and lounge for culinary delights, as well as a spa featuring therapy rooms, steam baths, and showers for relaxation and revitalisation.

Achint Kaur Sandhu, Partner, Grassmere Resorts, also stated, “With this partnership we hope to grow and cater to the demand by travellers looking for a luxurious stay and  experience hitherto unavailable in the destination.”

The location of LaRiSa Resort Palampur was chosen strategically, with nearby attractions such as Neugal Khad, a popular picnic spot; Saurabh Van Vihar; the Heritage Bridge; the Kangra tea gardens; Andretta Artist Village; and Tashi Jong Monastery. Guests can also indulge in activities such as hiking, treks, paragliding, and mountain-top jeep safaris.
