Reflecting The Peninsula’s dedication to hospitality excellence, all 12 of its hotels have been recognised in the 2025 MICHELIN Key Hotels list, with 11 properties earning at least a One Key distinction.

Announced on October 8, 2025, the MICHELIN Key Hotels guide celebrates the world’s finest properties, awarding One, Two, or Three Keys to recognise levels of excellence — from exceptional stays to truly outstanding experiences.

This year marks a milestone for The Peninsula portfolio. The Peninsula London achieved the highest honour of Three Keys, while The Peninsula Istanbul received the city’s only Two Keys rating. Echoing the 2024 results, The Peninsula Paris, The Peninsula Bangkok, The Peninsula Chicago, and The Peninsula Beverly Hills each retained their Two Keys, with The Peninsula New York and The Peninsula Tokyo maintaining their One Key recognition.

In addition, The Peninsula Hong Kong and The Peninsula Shanghai have both earned Two Keys for the first time, while The Peninsula Beijing received One Key. The Peninsula Manila was recognised with a ‘Selected’ distinction, denoting it as a ‘high-quality stay’.

“We are honoured that each of our hotels has been recognised in the 2025 MICHELIN Keys,” said Gareth Roberts, Chief Operating Officer, The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels, Limited. “These distinctions reflect the unwavering commitment of our teams to delivering exceptional service and timeless experiences, and they inspire us to continue setting the standard for hospitality excellence worldwide.”
