Air India Express has announced the launch of several new direct flights from Delhi, further enhancing connectivity across India. From October 26, 2025, the airline will introduce direct services to Goa (Dabolim), Imphal, Lucknow, and Sri Vijaya Puram (Port Blair), followed by Amritsar on October 28, 2025, and new routes to Jodhpur and Udaipur from November 1, 2025. These additions will strengthen access between the capital and a mix of cultural, historical, and fast-growing regional centres. Bookings are now open via the airline’s website, mobile app, and major booking platforms.
The expansion forms part of Air India Express’s broader strategy to improve direct connectivity from major metropolitan hubs to cities across South Asia, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. With a current fleet of 115 aircraft and over 500 daily flights connecting 43 domestic and 17 international destinations, the airline continues to play a key role in linking India’s cultural and economic hubs.
From Delhi NCR alone, Air India Express operates more than 400 weekly flights to 24 domestic and two international destinations, alongside over 60 weekly services from Hindon (Ghaziabad). Effective 26 October 2025, all domestic flights from Delhi will operate out of Terminal 1, while international services will continue from Terminal 3.
Alongside network expansion, the airline is renowned for its ‘Tales of India’ initiative, showcasing over 50 indigenous art forms across its fleet, as well as Xpress Holidays, its curated travel platform offering complete holiday packages. Passengers also enjoy freshly prepared Gourmair meals and a seamless booking experience via its award-winning digital platforms.
