Air India Express has commenced daily flight operations from Jodhpur and Udaipur, connecting these historic Rajasthan cities with Bengaluru and Delhi. The inaugural flights took off today with special ceremonies at both airports, where the first passengers received commemorative boarding passes to mark the occasion.

The new schedule establishes direct daily connectivity on four routes: Jodhpur-Bengaluru, Jodhpur-Delhi, Udaipur-Bengaluru, and Udaipur-Delhi. This expansion increases Air India Express's presence in Rajasthan to over 105 weekly flights across three cities in the state.

Aloke Singh, Managing Director of Air India Express, commented: "True to our recently launched brand campaign 'Xplore More, Xpress More', we are enabling travellers to discover new destinations and experience diverse cultures. With Jodhpur and Udaipur joining our network, we are strengthening our presence in Rajasthan, offering convenient access to major domestic and international destinations through our hubs in Bengaluru and Delhi."

The enhanced connectivity provides travelers from Jodhpur with one-stop access to 26 domestic and three international destinations, while Udaipur connects to 29 domestic and seven international destinations through convenient hub connections.

These new routes are part of the airline's broader network expansion under its Winter Schedule 2025, which has recently seen new flights to Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, and Dehradun from Bengaluru, as well as international services to Bangkok, Jeddah, Riyadh, and Kuwait.

The airline has also introduced upgraded cabin interiors on its Boeing 737-8 aircraft, featuring enhanced seating with improved padding, wider armrests, increased legroom, and in-seat USB charging ports. The refreshed cabins include hot meal service capabilities and modern lighting systems.

Passengers can access curated holiday packages through 'Xpress Holidays', the airline's dedicated travel platform. The offerings include Rajasthan-focused itineraries such as the 8-night 'Royal Vacation in Rajasthan' and 6-night 'Grandeur and Love' packages, which combine flights, accommodation, transfers, and curated experiences.

Through its 'Tales of India' initiative, Air India Express continues to celebrate India's cultural diversity, with aircraft liveries featuring traditional art forms including Rajasthan's Danka embroidery, Pichwai painting, and Sanganeri Block Print.
