On International Cabin Crew Day, Akasa Air celebrates the dedication, professionalism and warmth of its cabin crew—the face of its inflight experience. Since its launch, Akasa has been recognised for offering a service built on empathy, efficiency and care.

At the centre of this is the Akasa Air Learning Academy (AALA), a modern facility where over 1,200 crew members have received world-class training in safety, service and soft skills. The academy features India’s only next-generation door trainer, which prepares the crew for emergency and routine scenarios in a lifelike environment. The training focuses not just on procedures, but on building calm, confident and caring professionals.

Akasa is also the first Indian airline to introduce gender-neutral uniforms, paired with custom-designed lightweight sneakers for both cabin and ground staff. Designed for comfort during long hours, these uniforms are made using recycled marine plastic, reflecting the airline’s commitment to sustainability and crew wellbeing.

Further, Akasa Air supports its crew with flexible schedules, ensuring a healthy work-life balance. From its systems and policies to its team culture, everything is designed to empower crew members—because a well-supported team delivers the best passenger experience.

On this special day, Akasa Air not only celebrates but honours the people who bring heart to the skies every day: its cabin crew.
