Akasa Air, India’s fastest-growing airline, has announced the launch of daily direct flights between Bengaluru and Phuket, starting 1 October 2025. The new service strengthens the carrier’s international presence and follows its recent introduction of daily flights between Mumbai and Phuket. Bookings are now open across Akasa Air’s website, mobile app and leading online travel agencies.
Known as the crown jewel of Thailand, Phuket remains a favoured getaway for Indian holidaymakers, offering a rich mix of beaches, nightlife, culture and adventure. The new route is set to provide travellers from Southern India with seamless access to the island, while also encouraging greater tourism and cultural exchange between India and Thailand.
The service is part of Akasa Air’s broader international growth strategy, with more destinations in the SAARC and ASEAN regions to follow. With a focus on accessibility and dependability, the airline continues to strengthen its global footprint while catering to the evolving needs of Indian travellers.
Passengers on the Bengaluru–Phuket route will enjoy Akasa’s signature travel experience. The airline’s modern fleet offers spacious cabins with ample legroom and in-seat USB charging ports. Café Akasa, its onboard dining service, features a rotating menu of wholesome meals and innovative additions such as Kombucha and festive specials. The airline also provides a wide range of ancillary products including Akasa GetEarly, Seat & Meal Deal, Extra Seat, and Akasa Holidays for enhanced personalisation.
The new flight schedule includes a morning departure from Bengaluru at 6:25 am, arriving in Phuket at 12:40 pm, with the return service departing at 1:40 pm and landing back in Bengaluru at 4:40 pm, operating daily.
