The Adventure Tour Operators Association of India (ATOAI) successfully hosted its Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the financial year 2024-25 at The Park Hotel, New Delhi, followed by a Fellowship Dinner that brought together members and stakeholders to celebrate industry unity and growth.

ATOAI President Ajeet Bajaj opened the AGM with a strategic address focused on elevating India’s global standing in adventure tourism. Key initiatives outlined included the adoption of international safety standards, strengthening of regional chapters, advanced training for guides, and increased support for women entrepreneurs. Bajaj underlined the association’s long-term vision to position India among the world’s top 10 adventure destinations by 2034.

Presenting the annual report, Honorary Secretary Ronny Singh Gulati highlighted progress made in industry standardisation and leadership initiatives. Honorary Treasurer Nirat Bhatt shared a strong financial performance, reaffirming the association’s operational resilience and growth outlook.

The association expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Tourism, state governments, the Indian Army and members for their continued collaboration.

The evening culminated with a Fellowship Dinner, attended by Ajit Pal Singh, Regional Director, Ministry of Tourism, who reiterated India’s vast adventure tourism potential and the Ministry’s commitment to capacity-building and deeper engagement with industry experts.
