Capella Residences Seoul Club

Capella Hotel Group has introduced Capella Residences Seoul Club, a preview of the luxury lifestyle awaiting residents of the full Capella Residences Seoul scheduled to open in 2028. Located in Seoul's prestigious Hannam-dong district, the club provides exclusive amenities for future residents.

The club features several distinct spaces across its floors. The second floor houses The Living Room, a Capella signature space for social connection and cultural programming. The third floor features The Dining Room by Hulotte, led by French dining chef Seung-jun Lee. The fourth floor includes The Roof, showcasing a culinary programme by Chef Ambassador Edward Lee, and The Boxing Club, offering wellness facilities with vintage design elements.

French design house Liaigre masterfully conceived the club's interiors, blending natural elements with refined materials to create seamless transitions between built and natural environments. The design reflects Seoul's urban forest landscape while maintaining the sophistication associated with the Capella brand.

Chef Edward Lee commented on his approach: “My approach to cooking starts with the ingredients around me—what nature and local artisans provide here in Korea. These ingredients carry the stories of Korean cuisine and history, and they're the foundation of everything I create. From there, I explore how we can blend Korean flavours with American techniques and global cuisines. Growing up Korean-American, I've always lived between two culinary worlds, and that duality drives my creativity. The possibilities are endless when you stay rooted in authentic flavours but aren't afraid to cross cultural boundaries. I want to create menus that are both playful and meaningful—celebrating my Korean heritage while embracing the American ingredients and global flavours I've fallen in love with.”

The full Capella Residences Seoul, scheduled for 2028, will feature 222 units designed by architectural firm Olson Kundig, with the community clubhouse in Heonin Maeul crafted by Pritzker Prize-winning architect David Chipperfield.
