Chowman, an Asian dining chain in India, recently concluded its inaugural Great Asian Food Festival, a notable event in its 15-year history. Held at outlets in Kolkata, Bangalore, Delhi, and Hyderabad, the festival was warmly received for its lively homage to Asia’s diverse culinary traditions.

The event featured a specially prepared menu with authentic dishes from six Asian nations — Japan, Korea, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, and China. Chowman aimed to bring regional Asian flavours to Indian diners, offering an immersive cultural and gastronomic experience.

Highlights included Japanese Gyoza and Seafood Tempura, Vietnamese Goi Cuon, Malaysian Ayam Serai Glaze, Korean Bibimbap, Malaysian Laksa Lemak, and Thai Red and Green Curries. The dishes were available for dine-in only, allowing guests to enjoy them in Chowman’s familiar and welcoming atmosphere.

Debaditya Chaudhury, Managing Director of Chowman, commented, We are overwhelmed by the response and love our patrons have shown for the Great Asian Food Festival. This initiative was born out of a deep admiration for Asias culinary diversity, and it was our heartfelt attempt to bring those authentic flavours to India. Every dish told a story of tradition, craftsmanship, and cultural richness and seeing our guests connect with that has been truly rewarding.
