Collinson Partners With TBO Academy To Expand Lounge Access

Collinson and TBO Academy have teamed up to provide Indian travellers seamless airport lounge access through LoungeKey Pass, covering 700 airports globally

Collinson International has partnered with India’s TBO Academy to make premium lounge access more widely available to Indian travellers. The collaboration introduces LoungeKey Pass™ through TBO Academy’s platform, offering seamless entry to airport lounges across more than 700 airports worldwide.

Through this initiative, TBO Academy’s travel partners can purchase LoungeKey Passes directly on behalf of their clients via their existing booking channels. For travellers, the process is simple, no need for membership cards or registrations. Instead, access is granted by scanning a digital QR code at the lounge entrance, offering a smooth and convenient start to any journey.

The move comes at a time when India’s outbound travel market is surging, with travellers spending over US$1 billion each month on international travel. Premium airport experiences, such as lounge access, are becoming increasingly important for passengers who value comfort, convenience, and a touch of luxury before their flights.

Collinson’s recent research underscores this trend, revealing that 93 per cent of surveyed Indian travellers have visited an airport lounge at least once. This growing appetite reflects how lounges are no longer viewed as a luxury reserved for business-class passengers but as a valued part of the modern travel experience.

For travel agents, the partnership provides an additional service to offer their customers, strengthening client relationships while enhancing the travel journey. For travellers, it means easier access to a network of lounges that provide calm spaces to relax, refresh, and work while waiting for flights.

By combining Collinson’s global expertise with TBO Academy’s strong distribution network in India, the collaboration aims to meet the evolving expectations of Indian travellers. As the travel industry continues to expand, initiatives like these show how convenience, digital access, and premium services are shaping the future of journeys worldwide.
