Czech Tourism recently held its annual Travel Trade Day, an event focused on building relationships with global travel partners and media while showcasing Czechia’s diverse attractions. From April 25 to 29, 2025, the programme featured cultural and culinary experiences alongside opportunities for meaningful business networking between Czech providers and international travel professionals.

The event started in Prague, with visits to landmarks such as Malá Strana, Kampa Island, and Charles Bridge. Participants then travelled to North Moravia, which is known for its industrial history and scenic locations. In Ostrava, highlights included Dolní Vítkovice, a former coal mining site now serving as a cultural hub, and the Bolt Tower offering panoramic city views. The group also sampled local products, such as honey cakes at Marlenka and Czech lager at Radegast Brewery.

Barbara Andelová, International Marketing Manager - New Markets at CzechTourism, said, “One of the key highlights of the event was the B2B workshop hosted in Ostrava, which provided international travel agents with a platform to connect directly with Czech suppliers. The session fostered conversations and networking around partnership opportunities and enabled the agents to gain fresh insights into Czechia’s evolving tourism landscape, including new experiences, offbeat destinations and developments in regional hospitality.”
