Dusit Thani Bangkok Named Among World’s Top 100 Hotels by The World’s 50 Best

A Modern Icon of Thai Luxury and Gracious Hospitality

Dusit Thani Bangkok, the reimagined flagship of Dusit Hotels and Resorts, the hotel arm of Dusit International, has achieved a remarkable milestone, ranking #60 on the inaugural extended list of The World’s 50 Best Hotels 2025. This prestigious global index recognises the world’s finest hospitality experiences, spotlighting properties that set new benchmarks for innovation, service, and guest satisfaction.

The extended list, which honours 50 additional hotels across six continents, was curated by a panel of over 800 independent travel experts, including hoteliers, journalists, and luxury travellers.

Initially opened in 1970 as one of Thailand’s pioneering luxury hotels, Dusit Thani Bangkok became a symbol of Thai grace and modern hospitality. Following a five-year transformation as part of the Dusit Central Park mixed-use development, the hotel reopened in September 2024, ushering in a new era that redefines Dusit’s philosophy of Thai-inspired gracious hospitality.

The reimagined property pays homage to its storied past while embracing contemporary design. The hotel’s iconic spire, now enclosed within a gleaming crown overlooking Lumpini Park, stands as a powerful emblem of continuity. Within its serene spaces, ornate decorative pillars, frangipani trees planted by Dusit’s founder, and restored artworks from the original hotel have been thoughtfully integrated, a celebration of legacy and renewal.

Inside, refined interiors by acclaimed designer André Fu reinterpret the classic Dusit aesthetic with understated elegance. The hotel features spacious rooms and suites with panoramic park views, contemporary dining concepts, and the signature Devarana Wellness centre, each space reflecting craftsmanship, culture, and care.

Dusit Thani Bangkok was officially honoured at The World’s 50 Best Hotels 2025 ceremony held at London’s Old Billingsgate on October  30, 2025, joining an elite list of global hospitality icons.

Earlier in October, the hotel also became one of three Dusit properties to receive a Michelin Key, alongside Dusit Thani Mactan Cebu in the Philippines and Dusit Thani Kyoto in Japan, reaffirming Dusit’s position among the world’s most respected luxury hospitality brands.
