Rann Utsav

Evoke Experiences is set to relaunch Rann Utsav – The Tent City, with the upcoming season opening on October 23, 2025 and continuing until March 4, 2026. This annual celebration of Gujarat’s cultural and natural heritage continues to expand in scope and depth, offering an immersive experience amidst the surreal landscape of the White Rann.

Evoke Experiences will not only operate and manage The Tent City but will also oversee its marketing, branding, and entertainment segments. This integrated approach ensures that every aspect of the visitor experience — from accommodation to storytelling — is curated with consistency and care, reflecting the region’s unique spirit.

The 2025 edition places a strong emphasis on sustainability, introducing a range of initiatives to minimise environmental impact whilst improving operational efficiency. These include eco-friendly tents, enhanced waste management, the installation of plastic crushing machines to reduce single-use plastics, widespread adoption of LED lighting, and ongoing cleanliness drives within the White Desert. These efforts reinforce the festival’s commitment to responsible tourism in one of India’s most fragile and iconic ecosystems.

Furthermore, the season promises enriched cultural and experiential engagement. Visitors can enjoy live art demonstrations, film screenings under the desert sky, dedicated zones for personalised celebrations, and hands-on workshops in traditional arts and crafts. These elements are designed to foster a deeper connection with Kutch’s creative traditions and community life.

The festival’s itinerary has been expanded to include Mandvi, a coastal town renowned for its historic charm. Assisted bookings will also be available for curated packages that combine Rann Utsav with visits to Dholavira, the ancient Harappan archaeological site. This broader route offers travellers a more comprehensive exploration of the region’s cultural and historical richness.
