A New Era of Island Wellness at Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita

Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita announced the reopening of its signature Oseyan Spa, Mauritius’s only overwater spa, as part of a broader resort transformation. The reimagined space introduces a new era of wellness on the island’s tranquil east coast, combining advanced treatments, mindful practices, and locally inspired rituals.

The renovated single and couples’ treatment rooms reflect the resort’s refreshed design approach, featuring natural light, earth tones, and organic textures that promote calm and balance. Designed to connect guests with the island’s serene landscape, the spaces blur the line between indoors and outdoors, encouraging a deep sense of harmony with nature.

At the centre of the new Oseyan Spa is a state-of-the-art Thermal Suite that includes a steam room, sauna, cold plunge, and experience showers, offering a restorative heat-and-water journey. The Royal Spa Suite, set above the turquoise lagoon, features a handcrafted stone tub, private steam room, and relaxation lounge with sweeping ocean views.

The spa’s new treatment collection introduces Epicutis, a science-led skincare brand known for its clean, anti-inflammatory formulations suitable for all skin types. Dedicated rituals for expectant and new mothers aim to restore balance and vitality, while vegan nail, body, and hair treatments reflect the resort’s focus on conscious wellbeing and sustainability.

Oseyan Spa continues to feature MyBlend, a biotechnology-driven skincare line offering personalised diagnostics and rejuvenation, and Theranaka, inspired by African healing traditions. Together, these offerings create a wellness experience that bridges science, nature, and cultural heritage.

“At the heart of our philosophy is the belief that ‘a person is a person through others,’” said Joelle Jennepy, Senior Director of Spa and Lifestyle. “Through our treatments, rituals, and mindful experiences, we invite guests on a journey of reconnection — to rediscover harmony within themselves and with the world around them. We honour this connection by creating meaningful moments that remind us that wellbeing flourishes through shared humanity and care.”

Expanding its beauty and grooming offerings, the spa has also introduced a new Overwater Hair Salon featuring revitalising treatments such as Hair Botox, designed to nourish and restore shine across all hair types.

“Our goal was to create a sanctuary where every guest can truly reconnect with themselves — whether through movement, mindfulness, or quiet reflection by the ocean,” said Martin Dell, General Manager, Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita. “Oseyan Spa captures the spirit of modern wellbeing: deeply personal, profoundly restorative, and inspired by the natural beauty and rhythm of Mauritius.”

Wellness at Four Seasons Mauritius now extends beyond the spa. The enhanced Fitness Centre includes modern equipment, a Pilates studio, a TRX station, and professional swimming lessons for guests of all skill levels. Complementing physical wellbeing, creative workshops such as painting, wood engraving, and crochet provide new ways to practise mindfulness. Sound-healing and guided meditation sessions in natural settings complete the experience, allowing guests to reconnect with the island's rhythm while finding inner calm.
