The Department of Tourism, Government of Goa, has announced its participation in ITB Asia 2025, Asia’s leading travel trade show, set to take place from 15–17 October 2025 at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore. The state’s presence will spotlight Goa’s evolution beyond its beachside reputation, positioning it as a destination rooted in authenticity, sustainability, and community-driven experiences.
At this year’s event, Goa Tourism will present its latest initiatives focused on culture, heritage, spirituality, and wellness. Alongside, the Goa Forest Department will highlight the state’s diverse biodiversity, wildlife conservation efforts, and immersive zoo and eco-tourism offerings — inviting visitors to explore Goa’s natural and cultural harmony.
Minister for Tourism, Shri Rohan A Khaunte, said: “Goa is entering a new phase in its tourism journey. At ITB Asia 2025, it is about building meaningful connections with global travel partners and showing that Goa is ready with upgraded infrastructure, safer travel environments, and a wider range of experiences. Regenerative tourism is central to our vision, ensuring that travel to Goa leaves positive footprints for communities, traditions, and the natural world.”
The Goa Pavilion will act as a vibrant meeting hub for global travel partners and industry stakeholders. Delegates will discover curated experiences that reflect Goa’s commitment to regenerative tourism — from spiritual circuits and heritage trails to wellness retreats inspired by yoga and traditional healing practices.
Visitors can also learn about the state’s local festivals, rural tourism projects, and community-led initiatives that directly link tourism growth to local livelihoods and environmental preservation. These showcase how Goa is embracing responsible travel while maintaining its unique cultural spirit.
Through its participation in ITB Asia 2025, Goa aims to strengthen international collaborations, reach new markets, and position itself as a globally connected yet deeply rooted destination — one that champions sustainability, inclusivity, and the future of meaningful travel.
Director of Tourism, Shri Kedar Naik, added: “Our presence at ITB Asia 2025 is about more than promoting Goa. We want visitors to see Goa as a place where heritage, nature, and community come together to create enriching journeys.”
