Grand Hyatt Mumbai Brings Italy to the Table with La Fiera Italiana

Grand Hyatt Mumbai is preparing to transform its signature Italian restaurant, Celini, into a culinary stage for La Fiera Italiana, a two-day Italian food festival that promises to bring the true flavours of Italy to the city. Scheduled for August 23-24, 2025, the event will feature five well-known chefs, each representing a different Italian region, with a showcase that blends tradition, flavour, and storytelling.

A Six-Course Celebration

On August 23, guests can savour a six-course plated dining experience, where each course is crafted by a different regional chef. The line-up includes Chef Alessio Banchero from Liguria, presenting stuffed zucchini flowers and tuna tartare, while Chef Matteo Fracalossi from Trentino-Alto Adige brings crispy polenta with truffle and seared scampi. Piemonte’s Chef Fabrizio Berretta highlights black truffle potato mille-feuille and sous-vide cod, while Campania’s Chef Gian Marco Carli showcases prawn spaghetti and San Marzano tomato pasta. From Abruzzo, Chef Domenico Cicchetti completes the menu with roasted lamb saddle and cauliflower creations. The evening concludes with a decadent six-layer chocolate finale.

Lunch is priced at Rs 3,995 plus taxes, with wine pairings available at Rs 2,500. Dinner, which includes a welcome drink at Juniper Bar, is priced at Rs 4,995 plus taxes, with the same wine pairing option.

Italian Sunday Brunch

On 24 August, La Fiera Italiana continues with a grand Sunday brunch, offering live pasta and risotto stations, wood-fired pizzas, grilled meats and seafood, artisanal cheeses, antipasti and classic Italian desserts. Guests can indulge in tiramisu, cannoli, baba, and house-made gelato. Prices start at Rs 4,995 plus taxes for food and soft beverages, rising to Rs 6,495 with cocktails, wines and prosecco.
