Abu Dhabi Ft. The Tribe
Reimagine Travel Planning
Holiday Tribe has teamed up with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi to launch a people-focused campaign that emphasises authentic experiences over standard itineraries. The initiative positions Holiday Tribe employees, known as Tribers, as content creators and storytellers, allowing them to experience the destination first-hand and share genuine insights about Abu Dhabi.
As part of the campaign, titled ‘Abu Dhabi Ft. the Tribe’, ten Tribers visited the emirate, exploring its key attractions, cultural sites, and lifestyle offerings. The resulting content showcases Abu Dhabi through the eyes of those who design holidays, adding authenticity and depth to the travel planning experience.
Commenting on the collaboration, Abdulla Yousuf, Director of International Operations at the Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi, said, “We are committed to showcasing the destination through experience-led storytelling that fosters deeper connection and understanding. Holiday Tribe’s employee-led initiative aligns strongly with this approach, enabling those who curate travel to truly live the destination. This collaboration brings Abu Dhabi’s cultural richness, lifestyle diversity, and world-class experiences to life in a way that is both credible and compelling for today’s travellers.”
Anshu Sharma, Co-founder of Holiday Tribe, added, “Holidays are all about the experience, and we strongly believe that you can curate truly meaningful itineraries once you have lived the destination yourself. Through our partnership with the Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi, we are reimagining how travel is planned and communicated. By enabling our Tribers to step into the role of creators and explorers, we deepen their destination knowledge, emotional connection, and storytelling capability, resulting in more thoughtful and immersive holidays for our customers.”
During their time in Abu Dhabi, the Tribers explored Yas Island’s globally renowned attractions, including Ferrari World Yas Island and SeaWorld Yas Island, Abu Dhabi; alongside leading cultural landmarks such as Louvre Abu Dhabi, Zayed National Museum, and the Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi. Their holiday was further enriched by curated retail and lifestyle experiences at Yas Mall, as well as immersive culinary explorations across Abu Dhabi’s diverse dining landscape.
