The Jamaica Tourist Board (JTB) is celebrating 70 years of exceptional tourism with the launch of “70 Days of Jamaica Love” — a special, limited-time campaign. To mark this milestone, travellers can enjoy fantastic deals across the island’s hotels, attractions, restaurants, and transport services, encouraging everyone to experience the magic of Jamaica once again.
Over 50 hotels are offering exclusive discounts, alongside deals at popular sights, eateries, and transport and tour services — perfect for both first-time visitors and those returning to this Caribbean gem.
This campaign forms part of JTB’s wider effort to boost summer arrivals and tourism expenditure, targeting key markets like the UK, US, Canada, and emerging destinations such as India and Latin America through a dynamic multi-platform promotional strategy.
“The ‘70 Days of Jamaica Love’ campaign is our way of thanking travellers and industry partners who have been part of this incredible journey,” said Donovan White, Director of Tourism, Jamaica. “By creating these attractive offers, we aim to make summer travel more rewarding while showcasing the very best of Jamaican hospitality.”
Supporting this celebration is Jamaica’s strong tourism outlook in 2025, with over 4.5 million visitors expected by the end of the year. This includes a 33.6 per cent rise in Caribbean arrivals during the first quarter, with around 1.58 million visitors arriving between January and April. Growth is projected to continue throughout the summer and winter seasons, with tourism earnings anticipated to exceed $4.3 billion, driven by group travel, cruise tourism, and increasing interest from new markets.
In addition, Jamaica is developing a national Entertainment Policy to position music, festivals, and creative industries as key drivers of tourism. This initiative will aim to connect these vibrant cultural experiences more strategically with the tourism offering, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and international promotion. Major events such as Reggae Sumfest, Dream Weekend, and Carnival will benefit from increased investment, regulation, and global visibility.
