The Korea Tourism Organisation (KTO) India successfully hosted the Korea MICE Roadshow 2025 on June 5 in Mumbai. The event showcased Korea’s increasing appeal as a destination for Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) travel, while strengthening partnerships with the Indian travel trade, corporations, and media.

Highlights included Korea’s incentive support programme, MICE group visa facilitation, and advanced convention facilities. KTO also detailed its comprehensive support for Indian MICE groups, including visa fee waivers, expedited processing, and hassle-free documentation for eligible groups.

The organisation presented its MICE Support Programme, offering everything from souvenirs and destination experience fees to customised support for gala dinners, performances, charter buses, K-pop booths, K-food trucks, and trip video highlights. Support is tailored based on group size and needs, with options for team-building, welcome receptions, and cultural experiences.

Myong Kil Yun, Regional Director, India & SAARC Countries, KTO, remarked, “It was a pleasure to see such strong participation in Mumbai, with over 150 attendees including MICE travel agents, corporates, and media. This level of interest reflects the growing curiosity about Korea as a compelling new destination for business and incentive travel. With our dedicated support programs, we are confident Korea will become a preferred choice for the Indian market.”

A highlight of the event was the honouring of Indian actress and Korea Tourism’s Honorary Ambassador, Hina Khan. She was officially appointed by KTO on May 9, 2025 during a ceremony at the KTO Seoul Centre (HiKr Ground). Ms Khan recently returned from a FAM trip organised by KTO, exploring Seoul, Gangwon Province, and Incheon.

Khan also shared, “I am truly grateful to be named the Honorary Ambassador of Korea Tourism. My recent trip to Korea was eye-opening—from walking through famous K-Drama locations to enjoying thoughtfully prepared vegetarian meals. Korea feels both modern and rooted, and I believe Indian travellers will connect deeply with what it offers. It’s a destination that stays with you.”

The event concluded with a presentation by KTO, a K-lucky draw, and a networking lunch. The Korea MICE Roadshow 2025 proved to be a valuable platform for establishing connections, forging partnerships, and inspiring new opportunities for Indian MICE travel to Korea.
