LOT Polish Airlines, a proud member of Star Alliance, is adding two exciting destinations to its upcoming winter 2025 schedule: the winter wonderland of Rovaniemi in Finland and the sunny coastal city of Málaga in Spain. Both routes will operate from the airline’s Warsaw hub, which is served daily from India, making it easier than ever for Indian travellers to explore Northern Europe and the Mediterranean.

“With Rovaniemi and Málaga, LOT Polish Airlines will add two new destinations to its global network that are worth visiting for leisure travellers when travelling from India to Europe,” adds Amit Ray, Director India, DACH Markets, Italy, Malta, & Head of Global Corporate & Strategic Sales.

Arctic Adventures in Rovaniemi

From  November 27, 2025, to February 1, 2026, LOT will fly twice a week, on Thursdays and Sundays, to Rovaniemi, the capital of Finnish Lapland. Known as the official home of Santa Claus, Rovaniemi offers a magical Arctic Circle experience, from reindeer encounters and sleigh rides to snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and chasing the Northern Lights. Flights will be operated by a Boeing 737 MAX 8, departing Warsaw at 11:35 and arriving at 15:20 local time after a journey of 2 hours and 45 minutes.

Year-Round Sunshine in Málaga

The airline will also launch flights to Málaga, Spain, from January 15, 2026. Initially operating four times a week, Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays, the service will increase to six times weekly in summer, adding Wednesday and Saturday departures. Known for its warm Mediterranean climate, Málaga is perfect for beach lovers, foodies, and culture seekers. Visitors can explore the Picasso Museum, wander through boutique-lined streets, or relax on the Costa del Sol’s famous beaches. Flights will be served by Boeing 737-800 aircraft, departing Warsaw at 10:20 and landing in Málaga at 14:35 after a 4-hour 15-minute journey.

Connections from India

LOT Polish Airlines offers daily flights from India to Warsaw, five days a week from Delhi (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday) and twice weekly from Mumbai (Sunday, Wednesday). From Warsaw, passengers can easily connect to these new destinations and a wide network across Europe and North America.

With these new routes, LOT Polish Airlines is offering Indian travellers the perfect blend of winter magic in Lapland and year-round sunshine on Spain’s southern coast, all with the convenience of smooth connections through Warsaw.
