Malaysia Airlines and its subsidiary Firefly are making it easier for international travellers to explore Southeast Asia, with new regional routes launching from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA Terminal 1). The partnership gives passengers from India, Australia, New Zealand, the UK, France and beyond smooth connections through Malaysia’s capital to some of ASEAN’s most exciting destinations.
From November and December 2025, Firefly will introduce flights to Krabi in Thailand, Siem Reap in Cambodia and Cebu in the Philippines. Krabi launches on November 17 with daily services, offering a gateway to turquoise waters, limestone cliffs and Thailand’s famous island-hopping adventures. Siem Reap begins on November 27 with three weekly flights, opening up access to Angkor Wat and Cambodia’s rich cultural heritage. Cebu follows on December 2, 2025, with five weekly departures, combining Spanish history with pristine beaches and world-class diving.
Travellers booking Malaysia Airlines flights into Kuala Lumpur can seamlessly connect to Firefly’s regional network, with through check-in and baggage transfers for convenience. On board, guests can enjoy complimentary snacks and a taste of Malaysian hospitality, while those choosing FY Flex benefit from added perks such as 30kg baggage allowance, unlimited changes and priority services.
Fares start at Rs 20,999 for Economy and vary by destination. The campaign, open for bookings until October 2, 2025, covers travel through to August 31, 2026. With this expansion, Malaysia Airlines and Firefly continue to strengthen Kuala Lumpur’s position as a hub for discovering the cultural and natural treasures of Southeast Asia.
