The Margaret River region in Western Australia will host the inaugural Australian edition of The World's 50 Best Vineyards awards on November 19, 2025. This prestigious event aims to recognise and celebrate exceptional vineyards worldwide, highlighting their wine, food, and visitor experiences.

Secured by the Western Australian Government through Tourism WA, the awards will position Margaret River on the international stage and coincide with the return of the Pair'd Margaret River festival from November 20 to 23. The four-day event showcases the region’s renowned wine, cuisine, and music, drawing visitors and industry leaders alike.

Minister Reece Whitby commented, "Welcoming The World's 50 Best Vineyards awards in Margaret River is a proud moment for Western Australia and reflects our growing global profile as a leader in premium tourism and hospitality offerings. "The Margaret River region's international reputation for outstanding wine, food and natural beauty makes it the ideal setting for this prestigious global event.

This event marks the first time vineyards are honoured within the '50 Best' global brand, offering significant global media exposure and promoting Western Australia as a premium destination for tourism. The awards and festival are expected to boost the local economy by attracting international visitors and media attention.
