For outdoor enthusiasts, the biggest challenge isn’t always the hike, the surf or the slope – it’s choosing where to go and how to plan the trip. Marriott Bonvoyaims to change that with the launch of 'Marriott Bonvoy Outdoors', a digital platform designed to help travellers discover destinations based on what they love to do.
The new platform allows travellers to search across more than 450 hotels, 50,000 Homes & Villas, and a wide range of curated Tours & Activities. Whether it’s skiing the Swiss Alps at W Verbier, paddle boarding in Banff with Moxy, or diving off Belize near Alaia Belize, Autograph Collection, the experience is tailored to passions such as hiking, glamping, surfing, scuba diving, and more.
“We built Marriott Bonvoy Outdoors to help people, whether that’s cresting a mountain trail, catching the perfect wave, or simply finding quiet under the stars,” said Peggy Roe, Executive Vice President and Chief Customer Officer, Marriott International. “Travel is at its best when it speaks to who we are and what we love. It’s about reconnecting with yourself and the people you love in the places that inspire you most. With the new Outdoor Collection by Marriott Bonvoy, our curated Marriott Bonvoy Moments, and even playful activations like the Drop Pin Challenge with Dylan Efron, we’re not just offering places to stay, we’re opening doors to experiences that inspire, connect, and stay with you forever.”
Adding to the excitement is the debut of the Outdoor Collection by Marriott Bonvoy™, a curated portfolio of stays that put nature front and centre. The first two brands, Postcard Cabins and Trailborn Hotels, promise escapes that balance the raw beauty of the outdoors with modern comforts. Think Scandinavian-inspired cabins with fire pits under starry skies, or boutique hotels in the Blue Ridge Mountains and Grand Canyon with field guides, guided excursions and locally inspired dining.
To celebrate, Marriott has teamed up with TV personality Dylan Efron for the Drop Pin Challenge, a treasure hunt across 20 destinations in the US and Canada with 10 million Marriott Bonvoy points up for grabs.
By blending curated stays, outdoor-focused properties, and interactive challenges, Marriott Bonvoy Outdoors is inviting travellers to see the world not just as a place to visit, but as a playground to explore.
