Start dreaming of an unforgettable summer 2027 as MSC Cruises reveals plans for six ships to depart from US ports. The highlight is the debut of the MSC World America, which will continue its round trip from Miami. Alongside this flagship, five other vessels will operate from Port Canaveral, Galveston, Seattle, and Port Miami, offering a variety of itineraries. Whether you’re envisioning a getaway to the Caribbean, a tropical cruise to the Bahamas, or an expedition to Alaska’s natural wonders, MSC Cruises has the perfect voyage awaiting you. Here’s a glimpse of what’s in store for future travellers.
MSC World America to Depart From Miami
The summer of 2027 will see the MSC World America take centre stage. This colossal 205,800-ton ship, which was christened in Miami earlier this year, will continue to sail from the vibrant port throughout the summer. Guests aboard the MSC World America can enjoy alternating seven-night cruises to the Western and Eastern Caribbean, visiting top destinations such as Ocean Cay, MSC’s private island.
In addition, MSC Seaside will also sail from PortMiami alongside the MSC World America. This new vessel will offer three- and four-night cruises to the Bahamas and neighbouring islands.
Two MSC Ships at Port Canaveral
Port Canaveral will host two MSC ships during summer 2027, both offering enticing Caribbean itineraries. The MSC Grandiosa, which debuted in Central Florida at the end of 2025, will continue to operate week-long cruises around the Caribbean, including calls at MSC’s private island, Ocean Cay.
Joining her will be the MSC Seashore, which is designed for three- and four-night cruises to the Bahamas, also making stops at Ocean Cay, the cruise line’s tropical sanctuary.
MSC Seascape’s First Voyage from Galveston
The MSC Seascape, built in 2022, will shift its homeport to Galveston, Texas, for 2027. The ship will sail seven-night cruises to the Western Caribbean, departing on Sundays, with stops in Mexico and Honduras. Passengers will have the chance to explore stunning ports along the way.
MSC Poesia to Sail from Seattle to Alaska
MSC Cruises will extend its Alaska season into 2027 with the MSC Poesia, returning to Seattle after its 2026 season. While specific itineraries have yet to be announced, travellers can anticipate more breathtaking scenery and adventure-filled voyages, similar to those of last year. With its striking design and access to Alaska’s natural beauty, the MSC Poesia promises to deliver memorable scenic cruises.
Why You Should Book Early for 2027
With six magnificent ships sailing from US ports in summer 2027, MSC Cruises guarantees a perfect voyage for every traveller. Whether exploring the Caribbean, relaxing on Ocean Cay’s pristine beaches, or venturing to Alaska’s wilderness, MSC ships offer modern comforts and extraordinary sights for a holiday to remember.
