Noida International Airport has announced a partnership with Uber to facilitate smoother ground transport for travellers. The arrangement includes dedicated pick-up zones, on-ground assistance, and clear signage for a more straightforward journey from the terminal to the vehicle. Uber driver-partners will have exclusive parking spaces, aimed at reducing waiting times for passengers.
Passengers using Uber from NIA can expect real-time tracking, cashless payments, access to driver details, and multiple ride options, available around the clock.
“Our goal is to make every part of the passenger journey efficient and comfortable—from door to door, said Christoph Schnellmann, CEO, Noida International Airport. “The availability of app-based taxi services like Uber is a key step in ensuring that travellers have access to convenient, reliable and safe last-mile transport options.
Arnab Kumar, Director, Business Development, Uber India and South Asia, also commented, “We are proud to partner with Noida International Airport to elevate the travel experience for passengers through reliable and technology-enabled mobility solutions. Our collaboration reflects our commitment to ensuring smooth and comfortable last-mile connectivity, backed by dedicated on-ground support and an effortless booking experience via the Uber app.”
This partnership aligns with NIA’s vision to become a comprehensive transport hub, expanding options for all travellers and collaborating with authorities to improve access and public transit services.
