Whether guests are hopping between European cities nearly every day, taking in Alaska’s natural beauty from ships custom-built to bring the outdoors in, or kicking back on the beach with family and friends at one of our two resort-style destinations, there’s no shortage of ways to relax, explore, and create unforgettable memories.”
Highlights of the 2027 European and Beyond Cruise Programme
Europe: More Seven-Night Voyages with Overnights & Late Departures
Eight ships, including the latest and recently refurbished vessels, will operate mainly seven-day itineraries, with departures from 10 major ports such as Barcelona, Rome, Athens, and Reykjavik. These port-intensive trips spend over 90 per cent of their time ashore, averaging nearly 11 hours per port, with multiple overnight calls in cities like Istanbul, Copenhagen, and Hamburg, plus late-night sailings from popular destinations such as Santorini, Dubrovnik, and Ibiza.
In 2027, Norwegian Prima® and Norwegian Viva® will return to Europe, offering voyages of 9 to 11 days across the continent. Norwegian Viva will explore the Western Mediterranean and Greek Isles from June to October, departing from ports including Istanbul, Barcelona, Rome, and Ravenna. Meanwhile, Norwegian Prima will undertake Mediterranean routes featuring maiden calls to Dubrovnik, Split, and Kotor, with summer operations extending to Northern Europe, including Iceland and Norway, from Southampton and Reykjavik. The season concludes with Baltic cruises from Helsinki and Riga, marking Norwegian Prima’s inaugural calls in Finland and Latvia.
Additionally, Norwegian Sun® will offer intimate seven-day Mediterranean itineraries from May to August 2027, starting from Rome and Venice, with maiden visits to ports such as Corfu. Norwegian Jewel® will return for its first full European season in over ten years, sailing Baltic routes with calls in Klaipeda, Riga, and Gdynia. Norwegian Epic® will operate Western Mediterranean voyages from spring to autumn, while Norwegian Dawn® will provide scenic open-jaw cruises between Barcelona and Lisbon.
Alaska: Enhanced Experiences on Ships Built for the Outdoors
As “coolcations” grow in popularity, Alaska remains a top destination. Starting in late April, NCL's Alaska season features cruises from Seattle, Whittier, and Vancouver on ships like Norwegian Encore®, Norwegian Bliss®, Norwegian Joy®, and Norwegian Jade®, all designed to showcase the region’s stunning landscapes, wildlife, and rugged beauty. Norwegian Joy will also offer longer voyages of 9 and 10 days during peak months.
From May 10 to September 20, 2027, Norwegian Jade® will sail seven-day cruises between Vancouver and Whittier, including scenic glacier cruising along Hubbard Glacier or Glacier Bay. Guests can also extend their adventure with Cruisetours to explore Denali National Park, the Alaska Railroad, or the region’s fishing waters.
South Pacific and Australia: Extended Season on Norwegian Spirit®
Following her season in Australia and New Zealand, Norwegian Spirit® will stay in the South Pacific through December 2027, with voyages from Sydney, Lautoka, Papeete, and Honolulu. Itineraries of 11 to 13 days will visit remote and exotic destinations such as New Caledonia, Fiji, the Samoan Islands, French Polynesia, and the Cook Islands.
Caribbean, Bahamas & Bermuda: Short Escapes & Island Adventures
NCL’s Caribbean programme includes 3 to 11-day cruises, featuring visits to private islands like Great Stirrup Cay and Harvest Caye, with enhancements including new piers, improved facilities, and exclusive experiences. Several ships, including Norwegian Viva®, Norwegian Encore®, and others, will operate from Florida ports during the season.
Bermuda is also a highlight, with voyages from New York, Philadelphia, and Boston on ships such as Norwegian Breakaway®, Norwegian Pearl®, and the newest Norwegian Luna®. These trips run from April to October, offering overnight stays at Royal Naval Dockyard. Between late August and mid-October, Norwegian Breakaway® and Norwegian Pearl® will feature Canada & New England cruises, with scenic ports like Charlottetown and Quebec City.
