Oman Air has officially unveiled its latest digital platform, Oman Air Holidays, in partnership with global travel organisation TUI. The all-in-one platform offers integrated booking services for flights, hotels, and excursions, making travel planning simpler for customers both domestically and internationally.
Covering over 20 destinations worldwide, Oman Air Holidays caters to travellers seeking smooth booking experiences and reliable post-sale support. The platform allows customers in Oman to organise international holidays and also promotes Oman as an attractive destination to international visitors.
“This platform is a natural extension of the work we’ve been doing to drive tourism into Oman,” said Michael Rutter, Chief Commercial Officer at Oman Air. “It brings together the elements we’ve been building, greater accessibility, stronger partnerships and more compelling reasons to visit. It also marks an important step in our digital journey, as we continue to invest in more connected, guest-centric experiences.”
Rutter added that the platform complements the airline’s broader tourism strategy, including its stopover programme with Visit Oman and initiatives to increase point-to-point traffic. Recent expansions to Oman Air’s international network include routes to Amsterdam and Rome. The airline also joined the oneworld alliance in June, broadening its reach to over 170 countries through partners.
On the occasion, David Schelp, CEO of TUI Markets + Airline, said, “Partnering with Oman Air allows us to bring our holiday expertise to a new market with huge potential. Oman is a remarkable destination and this platform makes it more accessible to international travellers. We’re proud to support Oman Air in expanding their offerings while delivering the high-quality experiences TUI is known for.”
The platform allows travellers to create personalised holiday packages across destinations in Oman, Europe, the Far East, the GCC, and Africa. Customers can book flights, selected hotels, curated tours, and transfers via a single site at holidays.omanair.com, with instant pricing and confirmation.
Surya Kuchibotla, VP of Retailing, Ancillary and Commerce at Oman Air, said the platform ensures efficiency and convenience. “Typically, travellers must coordinate with multiple parties – airlines, hotels and tour operators, which can be stressful if problems arise. But with us, we serve as a single point of contact. Whether it’s a flight delay or a late hotel check-in, customers only need to reach out to Oman Air for swift resolution.”
