Festive Shopping Highlights at Outletcity Metzingen
Outletcity Metzingen, Europe’s largest luxury outlet, opened three new stores—Belstaff, Balmain, and Rituals —while introducing its seasonal programme of shopping events, extended hours, and Christmas activities.
New Store Openings: Belstaff, Balmain and Rituals
Outletcity Metzingen has added three brands to its line-up of over 170 premium labels. The new Belstaff boutique introduces the British outerwear brand to guests seeking functional and design-led apparel.
Balmain has opened its first outlet store in Germany at Outletcity Metzingen, giving visitors access to the fashion house’s structured silhouettes and signature pieces. Rituals has also joined the destination with a store offering bath, body and home products.
“These exciting new additions reflect our ongoing commitment to offering guests an exceptional mix of global brands and premium experiences that make Outletcity Metzingen a truly world-class destination,” said Regine Schöllkopf-Pinakidis, CEO of OUTLETCITY AG.
Late Night Shopping – October 24, 2025
Outletcity Metzingen hosted its annual Late Night Shopping event in October, with extended hours until 10 p.m., exclusive offers across brands such as Gucci, Burberry, Balenciaga, and Dolce & Gabbana, and various international food trucks.
Black Weeks – November 17 to December 1, 2025
The outlet has launched its Black Week sale, offering discounts of up to 80% across luxury and designer brands. On Black Friday, November 28, stores will remain open from 9 a.m. until midnight.
Guests can access convenience services such as tax-free shopping, a Shopping Shuttle from Stuttgart and the on-site Moxy Hotel, which supports short shopping-focused stays.
Festive Season: Lights On and Christmas Activities
The festive season began on November 7 with the annual Christmas Lights On event at Hugo Boss Square. Families gathered as Santa Claus met children, and the outlet’s Christmas tree was illuminated.
Throughout December, guests can visit Santa’s Post Office to send festive greetings or letters to Santa. Santa will be available for photographs every Friday and Saturday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Christmas Markets in the Region
Visitors to Outletcity Metzingen can explore Christmas markets across the region:
- Stuttgart (thirty minutes from Metzingen): One of Germany’s oldest Christmas markets with over three hundred stalls and evening concerts.
- Esslingen (forty minutes from Metzingen): A medieval-style market with torch-lit stalls, performers and traditional craft demonstrations.
- Ludwigsburg (one hour from Metzingen): Known for its Baroque setting, light installations and more than one hundred and fifty stalls selling local crafts and food.
These markets complement a shopping trip to Outletcity Metzingen, where festive lights, seasonal events and luxury boutiques create an extended holiday experience.
