Rajasthan has taken a bold step towards broader global recognition of its tourism, with Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari flagging off specially branded FlixBuses from the historic Albert Hall Museum in Jaipur. The initiative will showcase Rajasthan’s culture, heritage, and visitor attractions to travellers across the UK and India in a fresh, engaging manner.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari said Rajasthan is not merely a land of forts and palaces, but also a living hub of traditions and diverse experiences.

“Our culture and heritage are the soul of our identity. We want travellers from around the world to experience this essence. Through this partnership with FlixBus, these buses will act as moving ambassadors of Rajasthan. This initiative will not only strengthen the image of our state as a leading tourism destination but also create new opportunities for youth and boost the economy,” she said.

Diya Kumari noted that the idea for this collaboration was conceived during her visit to Munich under the Rising Rajasthan initiative, and today it has become a reality. She stressed the Government of Rajasthan’s commitment to offering world-class facilities to its visitors to global standards.

Under the partnership, heritage-themed FlixBuses will operate on the London–Cambridge route in the UK and on the Dehradun–Haridwar–Delhi–Jaipur route in India. The buses will feature striking visuals of Rajasthan’s forts, palaces, and cultural symbols. Each bus will also display QR codes linking directly to the Rajasthan Tourism website, enabling travellers to access detailed information instantly.

Surya Khurana, Managing Director, FlixBus India, commented that the initiative is an endeavour to connect heritage and culture with modern travel experiences. “We want to offer passengers not just a journey, but an experience. Rajasthan’s rich history and cultural legacy are our inspiration, and we are committed to bringing this closer to global travellers,” he said.

As part of the campaign, during the promotional period, 100 FlixBus travellers arriving in Jaipur will receive free entry to the Albert Hall Museum. The partnership will also be amplified through joint social media campaigns and user-generated content, ensuring wide international outreach.
