Red Rock BBQ Opens This November
Red Rock BBQ will open in Ras Al Khaimah this November, adding a new dining concept to the Jebel Jais 2025–2026 season. Located on Jebel Jais, the UAE’s tallest peak, the restaurant introduces a fire-led menu directed by Chef Iker Zapata Errasti. It is positioned as a destination for visitors and residents engaging with the wider offerings on the mountain.
The space is designed around open-fire cooking and the use of locally sourced ingredients. The setting aims to connect guests with the surrounding landscape through an approach that highlights technique and the role of flame in preparation.

We wanted every visit to be a journey that immerses guests in Ras Al Khaimah’s extraordinary landscape, while celebrating the artistry and theatre of flame-led cooking,” says Nazli Sonmez Vallee, Chief Brand Officer at RIKAS Hospitality Group. “From the open-fire culinary experience to the mountain-inspired interiors, every detail has been carefully considered to delight the senses,” she added.
The opening aligns with Ras Al Khaimah’s ongoing development of its dining landscape. The emirate is working with international partners and chefs to expand the range of culinary experiences available, including concepts that integrate regional produce, modern techniques, and collaborative menus.
Visitors will be able to spend time at Red Rock BBQ in different ways, whether dining around the open flame, arriving for drinks at sunset, or choosing a later seating. The restaurant’s service approach and environment are curated to support these varied guest experiences.
Beyond its role as a dining venue, the restaurant contributes to Jebel Jais’ positioning as a location for both leisure and food-led activity. The menu will include ember-roasted meats and produce influenced by Mediterranean styles, with an emphasis on technique, ingredient selection and consistency.
