Rixos Murjana Opens In King Abdullah Economic City As Saudi Arabia’s Largest Ultra All-Inclusive Resort

Rixos Murjana officially opened in King Abdullah Economic City, brought to life with support from the Tourism Development Fund (TDF), Saudi Arabia’s national tourism enabler and project financier, as well as Emaar Economic City, the master developer of KAEC and an investor in the project, and FTG Company, the project’s developer.

As the largest Ultra All-Inclusive resort in Saudi Arabia, Rixos Murjana welcomes guests from both within the country and abroad, establishing itself as a flagship destination that enhances the variety and quality of tourism experiences. The opening ceremony was attended by Ahmed Al-Khateeb, Minister of Tourism and Chairman of the TDF, with the presence of Qusai Al-Fakhri, CEO of TDF, and Fettah Tamince, Chairman of Rixos Hotels.

Designed for families and leisure travellers, the resort features 488 rooms and suites, many offering sea views, along with 33 villas. It provides a wide range of hospitality and leisure amenities, including wellness facilities, a fully equipped fitness center, an expanded sports complex, and meeting and conference spaces. Beyond its hospitality offerings, the resort will create 250 jobs for Saudis.

On this occasion, Ahmed Al-Khateeb, Minister of Tourism and Chairman of the Board of the Tourism Development Fund, stated, “The opening of Rixos Murjana marks an important milestone in the development of high-quality tourism destinations across Saudi Arabia.
