AYANA Bali’s SAKA Museum has been honoured as one of the world’s most beautiful museums for 2025 by the Prix Versailles, a prestigious French award recognising excellence in architecture, cultural expression, and sustainability. It is the only Indonesian museum to feature on this year’s list, which includes notable sites such as the Grand Palais in Paris and the Cleveland Museum of Natural History in the USA.

Located in the serene grounds of AYANA Bali in Jimbaran, the SAKA Museum celebrates Bali’s rich heritage through immersive exhibitions and innovative design.

Dr Judith E Bosnak, Director of SAKA Museum, expressed her gratitude and shared the deeper significance of this recognition, commenting, “SAKA Museum has truly become a place of cultural pride and inspiration for Bali. This recognition celebrates the ingenuity of our entire SAKA Museum team, while also underscoring the profound importance of sustainable, accessible, and cutting-edge venues for cultural learning. We hope to inspire others to embrace innovative, inclusive, and sustainable design in Indonesia while encouraging visitors to engage deeply with Bali’s past, present, and future through our immersive cultural experience.”

Through its displays, seminars, and collections, SAKA Museum aims to foster greater understanding of Balinese culture, both locally and globally. This recognition underscores its position as a leader in cultural preservation, innovative design, and sustainable development.
