Skywings Sarovar Portico Mathura
High-Growth Leisure And Spiritual Markets
Sarovar Hotels announced the opening of Golden Tulip Kukas Jaipur and Skywings Sarovar Portico Mathura as part of its ongoing expansion across culturally significant and high-growth leisure destinations in North India.
The two additions enhance the company’s footprint in Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh, aligning with its strategy to focus on markets driven by leisure travel, spiritual tourism, weddings, and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions). The group currently operates 150 hotels across 87 destinations in India, Nepal, and Africa, reflecting a diversified growth approach.
Located in Kukas, an emerging hospitality hub in Jaipur, Golden Tulip Kukas Jaipur is a 90-room property situated against the backdrop of the Aravalli Hills. The hotel features an all-day dining restaurant, spa, swimming pool, fitness centre, and banqueting facilities that can accommodate up to 600 guests. Its proximity to Amber Fort and nearby industrial areas positions it to serve destination weddings, corporate events, and leisure travellers seeking resort-style accommodations within the Jaipur market.
Skywings Sarovar Portico Mathura marks the group’s entry into one of India’s most prominent spiritual destinations. The 70-key hotel offers an all-day dining restaurant, fitness centre, and banquet facilities accommodating up to 400 guests. Centrally located with convenient access to major temples and transit points, the property is designed to serve spiritual travellers, social celebrations and regional corporate demand.
Commenting on the expansion, Ajay K. Bakaya, Chairman, Sarovar Hotels & Director, Louvre Hotels India, said “Jaipur and Mathura are high-potential markets supported by strong leisure, pilgrimage and wedding demand. The addition of these two hotels reinforces our commitment to expanding in culturally rich destinations with sustainable growth drivers. As we scale our footprint, our focus remains on delivering quality hospitality experiences aligned with evolving market needs.”
With these openings, Sarovar Hotels continues to strengthen its balanced portfolio across gateway cities, pilgrimage centres and emerging leisure destinations.
