Charity Dinner Series Focuses on Child Nourishment

Share Our Strength concluded the Delhi edition of its Charity Dinner Series at The Grand Ballroom, The Leela Palace, New Delhi, on December 13, 2025. The event was organised as part of the organisation’s ongoing efforts to address childhood hunger through community and industry participation.

The Delhi edition was curated under the leadership of Ashish Kapur, along with Co-Chair Sachin Pabreja and philanthropist Meenu Goyal. The evening brought together chefs, hospitality professionals, industry representatives, and cultural figures to support initiatives aimed at improving access to nourishment for children across India.

Speaking at the event, Ashish Kapur said, “Hospitality is fundamentally about care and generosity. This evening showed how our industry can move beyond conversation into action, leveraging its reach, influence, and heart to support a cause that truly matters.”

Representing Share Our Strength, Rohit Choudhary stated, “The overwhelming response to this evening reinforces our belief that when communities come together with intent, real change follows. This was not just a dinner, but a collective pledge by leaders, chefs, and industry partners to complement the efforts of the government to build a future that ensures nourishment and opportunity for all children.”

The evening featured a multi-course dining experience created for the occasion by chefs including Manish Mehrotra, Varun Totlani, Tejasvi Chandela, Shubham Thakur, and Chintan Pandya. Each chef contributed individual menus in support of the initiative.

Industry leaders and cultural figures in attendance included Sanjeev Kapoor, Ajay Bahl, Raaj Sanghvi, Suresh Menon, Papa CJ, Rocky Singh, Vicky Ratnani, Vinay Golikeri, and Freddy Birdy. The programme also included a charity auction featuring artworks and curated experiences, with participation from guests such as H.E. Mohamed Maliki, Ambassador of Morocco, Manoj Adlakha, Pradeep Jolly, Ravinder Singh Rana, Naresh Modi, Shashvat Nakarni, Harish Bhardwaj, and Prashant Gaurav.

Reflecting on the evening, Sachin Pabreja said, “This dinner was a celebration of both culinary excellence and collective responsibility. Every contribution, whether the skills and creativity of the chefs, philanthropic support, or the involvement of committed volunteer leaders, translated into real impact. When the industry comes together with shared intent, we move one step closer to empowering the future for India’s children.”
