Skyscanner is hosting temporary pop-up events in Delhi and Mumbai featuring snacks from around the world. The events will take place at Select City Walk in Delhi on November 14 and Carter Road in Mumbai on November 15.
The activation will distribute approximately Rs 1,000,000 worth of free snacks representing sixteen countries. The selection includes Japanese Kit Kat Matcha, Australian Tim Tams, Mexican Takis and other international products.
The initiative follows Skyscanner research showing 80 per cent of Indian travellers visit local supermarkets abroad to purchase international snacks. Sixty per cent of travellers surveyed said browsing foreign supermarkets is their preferred way to experience new cultures.
The pop-up will operate for four hours in each location, with snacks available on a first-come, first-served basis. The format combines elements of a food truck with a convenience store experience.
Skyscanner's Travel Trends 2026 report identified supermarket visits as a growing travel activity among Indian travellers. The pop-up aims to bring international food experiences to domestic consumers while promoting travel inspiration through culinary discovery.
