Skål India National Congress 2025 to host global tourism leaders in Mumbai

Skål International India has announced the Skål India National Congress 2025, to be hosted by Skål International Mumbai South from September 12–14, 2025, at the Sahara Star Hotel, Mumbai.

Under the theme “Connecting Tourism Leaders, Inspiring Growth”, the Congress will bring together eminent figures from travel, tourism, entertainment and hospitality for three days of keynote addresses, panel discussions, fireside chats, and exclusive networking opportunities. Delegates will have the chance to engage with CEOs, tourism board representatives, hospitality innovators, and policy leaders shaping the future of the industry. In addition to the business sessions, attendees can enjoy curated social evenings, a glamorous black-tie dinner, and cultural entertainment, ensuring a comprehensive industry experience.

The main keynote session on 13 September will feature Omar Abdullah, Former Chief Minister of Jammu & Kashmir, who will share perspectives on national integration and tourism development. Maneka Gandhi, eight-time MP, environmentalist, and Chairperson of People for Animals, will focus on how sustainable, ethical tourism can drive environmental conservation, animal welfare, and community development. Kandula Durgesh, Tourism Minister of Andhra Pradesh, will outline state-led initiatives shaping tourism growth in India.

A special Skål fireside chat will see renowned filmmaker and educator Subhash Ghai explore the interplay between cinema and tourism, while actress, life coach, and wellness advocate Pooja Bedi will speak on holistic well-being in tourism experiences. The final session will feature Ambassador Deepak Vohra, Special Adviser to the Prime Minister of Lesotho and Guinea-Bissau and to the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council, who will offer global insights on diplomacy-driven tourism.
