StarCruises has announced the return of its popular cruise liner, Star Voyager, to Southeast Asia for the 2025–26 winter season. Sailing between 20 November 2025 and 5 February 2026, the voyages are perfectly timed for the festive period, offering travellers a chance to celebrate Christmas and New Year at sea.

Holidaymakers can choose to embark from either Singapore or Kuala Lumpur (via Port Klang), making it easier than ever to plan short getaways across the region. From Singapore, Star Voyager will offer three-night weekend cruises to Penang and four-night sailings to Phuket and Penang between 20 November and 14 December. From 18 December, new itineraries will include four-night voyages to Kuala Lumpur and Phuket, as well as three-night trips to Kuala Lumpur and Pulau Bintan.

“This deployment gives cruise passengers from Singapore and Malaysia more choices, flexibility, and convenience, with 3 and 4 Night getaways from both Singapore and Kuala Lumpur (Port Klang), sailing between the two cities and calling at the ever-popular destinations of Phuket, Penang, and Pulau Bintan,” said Michael Goh, President of StarDream Cruises.

Travellers departing from Kuala Lumpur between 19 December 2025 and 2 February 2026 can look forward to three-night cruises to Pulau Bintan and Singapore, or four-night itineraries to Phuket and Singapore. With both Singapore Cruise Centre and Port Klang Cruise Terminal as homeports, guests can enjoy convenient access, whether flying in or joining locally.

The itineraries highlight Southeast Asia’s most-loved destinations — from Singapore’s lively cityscape and Penang’s UNESCO-listed George Town to Phuket’s beaches and Bintan’s island resorts. Guests can also explore Kuala Lumpur’s mix of modern and colonial charm or unwind with golf, eco-tours, and water sports along the coast.

Adding a touch of adventure, Star Voyager will operate two special repositioning cruises — a four-night voyage from Hong Kong to Singapore via Nha Trang on 16 November 2025, and a five-night sailing from Singapore to Hong Kong via Ho Chi Minh City and Nha Trang on 8 February 2026, just in time for Lunar New Year celebrations.

With more departures and flexible routes, Star Voyager’s seasonal return promises a perfect blend of festive celebration, cultural exploration, and relaxation across Southeast Asia’s most scenic shores.
