The Northern India chapter of the Travel Agents Federation of India (TAFI) held its Annual General Meeting on July 14, 2025, at The Park, New Delhi, under the chairmanship of Khushvinder Sarna. During the meeting, elections for the 2025–27 term were conducted, with all office bearers elected unopposed.
Dinesh Kumar of Inter Airwings has been elected as Chairman. Rajiv Aggarwal of Hindustan Air Travels has taken on the role of Secretary, while Naveen Kumar Gupta of Travelco India has been appointed Treasurer. The committee members elected for the term are Charu Arora from YTS Travel Services and Niti Batra from Joy Travels.
The AGM witnessed the presence of national-level TAFI representatives, including Anil Kalsi, National Vice-President and Rai Achal Krishna, Joint Treasurer. Members of the chapter were also present in good numbers, extending their congratulations to the newly elected team with bouquets and warm wishes.
In their joint address, the new leadership thanked members for their support and assured them of continued efforts to strengthen the travel trade. They shared plans to engage with stakeholders across North India and work towards a unified tourism policy involving the central government and the governments of Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, and Rajasthan.
